Changes Due to Covid-19
Our staff and our customer's safety are paramount, so we have made many changes to our daily operations to become Covid secure and to try to minimise the risk for anyone who visits our site.
On the PDF link provided you can download our Covid-19 Risk Assessment which was created in collaboration with our team.
However, below is a summary of the key changes that will impact you and that may be very different if you have previously visited us:
The restaurant layout has been reconfigured and capacity greatly reduced to ensure social distancing is maintained.
Food will be served to an adjoining serving table to ensure staff can maintain a safe distance from customers.
To eat or drink inside the restaurant tables must be reserved in advance using our online booking system.
Time has been allowed between sittings to sanitise the tables, chairs and soft furnishings.
There is a concierge desk at the front door of the restaurant. All customers will be greeted, temperatures taken, asked to sign in for Track & Trace and then escorted inside to their table.
Any customers who present a raised temperature on the thermometer will be asked to remain outside for 15 minutes, at which point their temperature will be taken again. If a second raised temperature of above 38 degrees is read, access to the restaurant will be denied.
A new takeaway service with contactless collection has been created so that customers can enjoy our food without coming inside.
Customers are unable to sit at the bar and the bar stools have been removed.
Table service is operated at all times.
A perspex shield has been constructed at the till.
Perspex boards have been installed upon the restaurant floor to shield seated customers from those walking past.
We are requesting contactless card payment where possible.
All staff are required to wear masks unless they are sitting at a table on their break.
Customers are required to wear masks at all times, except for when they are sitting at a table.
Hand sanitiser is provided at the entrance to the restaurant, as well as within the restaurant at the till and before entering the toilets.
All private functions of more than 6 guests have been postponed until further notice.
The amount of team members working on shift has been reduced to ensure staff can maintain social distancing.
Customer contact data will be stored for 21days to support the government's Track and Trace system should the information be required.
